History History
The result of a paternal half-brother half-sister mating, Dixy was bred in 1948 with an inbreeding coefficient of 22.3% Dixy had one littermate (Colonsay Dicky Flutter who was sent to Kenya) but no full siblings. She had 34 half siblings on her sire's side and 2 on her dam's side with no champions as half siblings. She was bred 4 times, all to Colonsay dogs (two of which were champions), with a total of 11 get. Dixy was the 16th recorded champion of record but produced no champions. She was the first Junior Warrant winner in the breed. Note the mixed ear carriage in this pedigree. Dixy was bred by her owner, Miss M.S.S. Macfie.
